Cons of the 21-Day Detox Diet

Cons of the diet is that it lacks essential proteins, fats and fiber which could be dangerous. Also, it’s a type of diet that is very strict and you have to give up quite a bit of food in order to eat foods allowed in the detox diet.

Also, since it’s not a traditional diet, the things advocated in this diet are typically for someone who has disposable income. Not everyone can have cellulite treatments, liver flushes, kidney cleansing, body wraps and massages in a weekly basis. Even buying a juicer may not be affordable for everyone.

Nutritionist say that this diet restricts too many calories and people lose weight because of severe caloric restriction rather than detoxification.

So, do people lose weight through the 21-Day Detox Diet. People have sure done that but it’s not for everyone. It’s very different than any other diet and requires quite a bit of your money.
